Brochure Features Rheem-Ruud Eclipse Commercial Electric, with Unprecedented 10-Year Warranty

March 29, 2004 | Montgomery, AL --The Eclipse Commercial Heavy Duty Electric Water Heater is featured in a new, four-page, full-color brochure from Rheem Water Heaters. The literature offers detailed specification information on the six Rheem-Ruud Eclipse models, with inputs range from 12.4 to 24 kilowatts, while highlighting the features that make this unit superior to any other heavy-duty commercial electric water heater on the market today:
• Longer life: The Eclipse storage tank is made entirely of a durable polymer plastic that is impervious to the kinds of rust and corrosion that sharply curtail the lives of conventional commercial water heaters. No anode rod is needed. As a result, Eclipse carries an unprecedented 10-year limited  storage-tank warranty – more than three times the standard commercial warranty. That translates into major savings for end users.

• Lighter weight: The new 85-gallon Eclipse checks in at a trim 170 pounds, while the 105-gallon model is only 185 pounds, or less than half the weight of competitive models in its class. While its overall dimensions are comparable to competitive water heaters, the huge difference in weight makes the Eclipse much easier to maneuver through stairwells, doorways, hallways and into the tight spaces that are so often found in commercial applications.
• Greater efficiency: The new Eclipse uses extra foam insulation around the polymer storage tank from top to bottom to minimize heat loss, saving energy and lowering operating costs.
